No Contest

General Manager William Regal bringing Ember Moon and Asuka out for their contract signing. Regal says let’s make this official, but before signing, Moon grabs the microphone. She says Asuka is one of the best to ever step foot in WWE, surpassing even Goldberg which gets an “ASUKA” chant from Full Sail. One thing sticks out to Ember, though. She’s only ever taken shortcuts with her. At Orlando, she grabbed the referee, and before Chicago, she injured her to keep her out of the title match. But the champ made a mistake because Moon is motivated and better than ever thanks to Asuka’s shortcuts. And to say thanks, she is going to end her title reign and her undefeated streak in Brooklyn! Both wrestlers sign, as does Regal. The champ grabs the mic and cuts a promo in Japanese as they get in each others’ faces. Asuka holds up the belt and a staredown ends the segment.
Street Profits are next. Before that, we get a segment in the GM’s office. He’s telling a story about how someone married Robert Plant when Lars Sullivan comes in and asks for another tag match. Regal explains his partner could lose, and he can’t have Sullivan beating him senseless after the bout. Lars promises to be good and gives him one last shot.Street Profits def. Lars Sullivan and Chris Silvio via pinfall following the powerbomb/frog splash combo; Silvio charged in when Sullivan was set to start and got wiped out, causing Montez Ford to freak out, even running into the crowd. Lars never gets tagged in, but manages to keep it together and only carry his partner to the back somewhat aggressively, but still...not kill him.Not so fast... backstage, Sullivan carries Silvio outside and throws him into the barricade, then the trash. Ranallo explains Lars only promised to not destroy his partner “in the ring”, so this doesn’t technically count.
The Iconic Duo “makeover” video from last week, where they run down Ruby Riot, is played to set-up.Ruby Riot def. Billie Kay via pinfall following Pele Kick variant; Riot also leveled Peyton Royce with a kick when she tried to grab her from the floor. Afterward, Royce grabs a mic and says all she’s done is prove lightning strikes once. She’s still a “gross, tattooed loser” who will never be iconic. The announce trio run down the card for Saturday, with the tag title match between Authors of Pain and SAnitY getting a video package with Paul Ellering narrating AOP's rise and showing highlights of their run-ins with Eric Young’s group
Drew McIntyre vs. Roderick Strong ends in a no contest when Bobby Roode shows up to boot Roddy to the floor from top turnbuckle and then pick apart McIntyre while he was hung up in the tree of woe. The champ throws Strong into the steel steps and then hits Drew with a Glorious DDT. Roode blows a kiss to Roddy and does the Glorious pose with the belt over McIntyre, screaming this is “MY NXT” as the show ends.

The Revival to BREAK The Hardys

One night after WWE's Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view kept fans buzzing due to the physical nature of the double main event, Monday's episode of Raw kept the intensity going.  It may not have been the most even three hours of wrestling from beginning to end, but Raw delivered a trio of exciting storylines that left a lot more questions than answers, which is exactly the right way to keep viewers coming back.  The show's highlight was a red-hot dialogue segment between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe, which began to reveal what the future might look like in terms of booking heading into SummerSlam. It was announced that Reigns and Joe will meet next week for a shot at Lesnar's universal title in August.  There was also the unresolved developments between former Shield partners Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, which stretched out over a pair of segments, after both wrestlers -- still more cautious foes than friends -- rescued one another from e
