Heyman asked the audience to pretend The Miz and Miztourage were Lesnar's SummerSlam opponents before The Beast Incarnate laid out the heels. Lesnar got to show off his destructive power and rev up the crowd by gobbling up the heels. The Miz got to be his egotist self in a fresh setting. Both Lesnar and The Miz's respective rivalries got some spotlight in the process.

He was able to roll up Cesaro when Sheamus' distraction attempt failed. In the post-match fray, Rollins rushed in and fought off the tag champs. Ambrose made it clear he was willing to reunite, but Rollins shook it off and left the ring.
Titus O'Neil joined the commentary team as his client took on Ariya Daivari. Akira Tozawa tried to chop his foe down, but Daivari wore him out with a mat-based offense. Tozawa fought back and finished off the heel with a diving senton. Jax dominated the opening moments of the bout. An errant charge into the corner left her out of the action as Mickie James and Dana Brooke slap each other around. Jax barrelled back into the ring and overpowered her foes.

Bloody Finn!! Lesner and Strowman Brawl!!

We go right to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose. Ambrose calls for the music to be cut. He knows everyone is asking what's up with him and Seth Rollins after last week. Ambrose calls Rollins out to the ring and here he comes to another pop.Ambrose says he's sick and tired of playing the games. He's just going to ask... what is Rollins doing? They have some back and forth before Rollins says they both know that they can run this place if they team up again. Rollins says if Ambrose is willing to put the past in the past, he's done playing games. Rollins offers his fist for a Shield-style bump and fans pop, then a "yes!" chant breaks out. Ambrose takes it all in and thinks about it. Ambrose can't believe this. This leads to another argument between the two. Rollins says maybe this was just a stupid idea, but maybe it wasn't. Rollins gets hype and says no one can touch them. He changes his tune and says maybe too much has happened. He's don...
