Reigns admitted to respecting Cena now and called it the biggest win of his careerMiz scoffed at the idea of Reigns being "the guy," then referred to himself with that title after his win over Jordan.Reigns told Miz he wins because he has helped, then asked Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel to go fetch him a beer.Miz told Reigns he rode the coattails of two other Superstars and if The Miztourage was around five years ago, no one would remember or care about The Shield. Reigns announced his intentions to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. The Miz TV host recalled the moments that Reigns has choked often of late, bringing up losses

All Pins FALL....

Elias def. Apollo Crews via pin fall (Kickoff Show):  After Elias serenaded the Los Angeles crowd with insulting lyrics, he traded physical strikes throughout with Crews in their fairly pedestrian opener. The match was booked fairly even throughout until a mistake from Crews found no one home off the top rope. Elias quickly capitalized to hit his Drift Away finisher for the 1-2-3. Elias added a few boots the face after the match, causing Titus O'Neil to give chase.  Intercontinental Championship  -- The Miz (c) def. Jason Jordan via pin fall to retain the title:  Despite the unexplained absence of Maryse, Jordan was still facing a serious deficit in the numbers game thanks to The Miztourage. After Jordan put on a  force of various suplexes and near falls while dominating the majority of the match, his roll-up pin attempt on Miz was never seen by the referee due to Bo Dallas climbing onto the top rope. Curtis Axel used the distraction to land a cheap shot, and The Miz hit his Sku

Tyler Bate & Trent Seven vs. Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly

In memory of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan graphic is displayed prior to the opening, then Mauro Ranallo welcomes “fans and humanoids” to the show and mentions our tag main event and the Aleister Black segment. The online interview with Riddick Moss and Tino Sabatelli from after Moss’ loss to Gargano last week is shown to set-up our first match. Johnny Gargano  def. Tino Sabatelli via submission with Gargano Escape; Johnny reacted to being disrespected early by firing back with a flurry of offense, but Sabatelli weathers the storm and takes control. Tino looks to be in good position after countering the slingshot spear into a power slam, but he trash talks and calls Gargano “the weak link of #DIY”, which fires Johnny up again. A superkick sets up the finish. William Regal is telling the cameraman a story about a Quiet Riot concert when Roderick Strong knocks on the door. He says he beat Bobby Roode like he said he would, so he wants a shot at Drew McIntyre for the NXT title. The General

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship #1 Contender

The show opens with a recap of last week's excellence with Kevin Owens and Vince McMahon. Live in the arena, Shane McMahon makes his entrance, but no shuffling this week, he's all business. He says we all just witness what he considers a cowardly act carried out by Kevin Owens, beating his father down in the middle of the ring. One thing's for sure, he has to give his old man credit for being one tough, salty SOB. They haven't always seen eye-to-eye, but at the end of the day he's still his father and he loves him. Shane asks Kevin Owens to imagine if he'd been sitting at home watching someone he love get beat down by a coward, how would that feel? His kids had to see their grandfather take that beat down, and when you cross one McMahon, the entire family strikes out with massive vengeance. He doesn't think KO realizes what he's done, or maybe he has, since he hasn't shown up yet. Owens didn't just beat the chairman down, he beat the patriarch o

Fatal 5-Way at No Mercy

Raw general manager Kurt Angle kicked off Monday's broadcast, greeted by a chorus of "you suck" chants as he made his way to the squared circle. The Olympian ran down the two main events for Sunday's No Mercy PPV, but The Miz interrupted him and looked none-too-pleased as he headed to the ring, flanked by The Miztourage's Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Miz continued to voice his frustrations over the lack of attention the authority figure paid to him. When it was revealed that Jason Jordan is in line for a shot at his title, Miz decried the decision and asked when Dallas and Axel would receive an opportunity. Miz delivered a few scathing lines about fatherhood, telling Angle he will be a better dad than the general manager, just like he is a better champion. The intercontinental champion referred to Angle as a deadbeat, drawing Jordan to the ring in defense of his pops. Angle announced the planned Fatal 4-Way match to determine the No. 1 contender to the Intercontine
