Tyler Bate & Trent Seven vs. Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly

In memory of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan graphic is displayed prior to the opening, then Mauro Ranallo welcomes “fans and humanoids” to the show and mentions our tag main event and the Aleister Black segment. The online interview with Riddick Moss and Tino Sabatelli from after Moss’ loss to Gargano last week is shown to set-up our first match.

Johnny Gargano def. Tino Sabatelli via submission with Gargano Escape; Johnny reacted to being disrespected early by firing back with a flurry of offense, but Sabatelli weathers the storm and takes control. Tino looks to be in good position after countering the slingshot spear into a power slam, but he trash talks and calls Gargano “the weak link of #DIY”, which fires Johnny up again. A superkick sets up the finish.

William Regal is telling the cameraman a story about a Quiet Riot concert when Roderick Strong knocks on the door. He says he beat Bobby Roode like he said he would, so he wants a shot at Drew McIntyre for the NXT title. The General Manager says Roddy’s done everything asked of him so he will get a championship match in two weeks. Quick recap of Asuka’s farewell as Mauro, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson talk about how the women’s roster is angling for a shot at the vacated title. We get a previously recorded promo from Sonya Deville where the MMA-based wrestler says she was never in the ring with Asuka because the Empress knew Deville could beat her. Now, the belt is hers, and if anyone doesn’t like it, they need to put their hair up and square up.

Bianca Belair def. Lacey Evans via pinfall following a reverse powerbomb. Belair controlled most of the action, but some strikes set up a neck breaker for a near fall from Evans. The comeback included a LOUD hair whip to Lacey’s hindquarters that got a big reaction from Full Sail.

Aleister Black is out to speak about his 15-year journey that’s brought him to NXT. The scars on his body remind him of the journey, including the heart on his throat and the devil on his back.Velveteen Dream cuts him off. He says everything that fades to black must come into the light. And here we have Aleister Black, who walked through the darkness for 15 years only to be blinded by the light that is Velveteen Dream. Dream doesn’t see it... he doesn’t see scars, he sees a man who’s in pain. Looking Black up and down, he says he sees the pain written on Aleister’s skin like lies. But more than that, he sees fear. Black is afraid of emotion, and he’s afraid of the light. Dream says he knows Aleister has a heart, it’s just in the wrong place. He taps Black on the chest. With a spinning heel kick, Black knocks the mic out of Dream’s hand and drops into his seated pose! VD stares at him then drops down and slides right into Aleister’s face. He slides away and backs up the ramp, licking his licks and signaling to his head indicating he’s in Black’s head.

Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly (with Adam Cole) def. Trent Seven and Tyler Bate via pinfall following their version of Total Elimination on Seven. Really good match which saw Cole get involved several times. Moustache Mountain got a near fall off a tandem powerbomb on O’Reilly and Bate got his foot on the ropes to avoid being pinned after taking Chasing the Dragon. Seven gets the hot tag but ends up outnumbered when Cole takes out Bate with a superkick on the outside before the end.Undisputed’s celebration is cut off by NXT champ Drew McIntyre! The heels act tough thanks to the numbers, but make to leave through the crowd... but they’re stopped by SAnitY! Cole tries to reason with Eric Young, but it’s on! AC escapes too much damage, but Killian Dane sends Fish into the barricade hard, and Kyle is thrown into the ring where Drew quickly throws him back out. The champs stand tall as Undisputed regroups and backs out of the arena.

S he became the first woman to compete in PWG’s prestigious  Battle of Los Angeles  in 2014. She’s got more guts than most men, with athleticism and charisma to boot. It's Johnny...

For the first time since a shocking betrayal by Tommaso Ciampa left him beaten and battered, and DIY a thing of the past, Johnny Gargano returned to NXT television Wednesday night and addressed the fans inside Full Sail University. Former Ring of Honor tag team and television champion Bobby Fish made his return in the NXT Arena, battling Aleister Black in a match that foreshadowed great things for the veteran in-ring performer.                                     Bobby Fish made his NXT debut to a thunderous ovation Wednesday night. He would have the unenviable task of being the latest Superstar to try to remove Aleister Black from the ranks of the undefeated. Black scored an early kick across the chest that blasted the wind from the newcomer, but Fish answered back with a leg sweep that turned t...

New Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss

At  Payback , Bliss defeated Bayley to become the Raw Women's Champion. In doing this, she became the first woman to ever become Raw and Smackdown Women's Champion.  Bayley defended the Raw Women's Championship against Alexa Bliss in her hometown of San Jose, California.  Bliss performed a Snap DDT on Bayley to win the title. Though her win is also due to Bayley being thrown into the steel post. This match is the best match of Alexa Bliss so far and I can't wait to see what she will do to the Raw Women's Division now that she is the champion. Many questions are running through my head now like who will she be facing next? who will she feud with next? will she retain when she faces Bayley again? many questions and now we have to sit and wait to see how she is booked and hopefully they are going to make her keep that championship for a while because it is rightfully deserved she is a hard worker. Alexa was going to win no doubt in my mind as ...
