Will Asuka KEEP her Championship

After what transpired  On the May 3 NXT, Asuka interfered in a number one contender's battle royal by attacking Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot, the last three competitors, while stating that "no one was ready" for her, causing the match to be ruled a no contest. Afterward, it was announced that Asuka would next defend the NXT Women's Championship in a four-way match against Moon, Cross and Riot at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Will this be the end of Asuka's reign? And if so who will be the next champion? Ember Moon? Ruby Riot? or will SAni†Y's own  Nikki Cross?  Personally, I think that Asuka will still be the champion. I think that when they bring her up to main she will simply vacate the championship and to me, that is the only way I see someone else taking the title from her. It's all about timing and the timing just isn't right they could have done more with Nikki Cross but they backed out and ended up doing nothing with Nikki and Asuka. Ruby Riot is another good contender and I think maybe is she was brought in a couple months ago she would have been perfect but she wasn't and though I think she would be a wonderful champion along with both Ember Moon and Nikki Cross I don't see the title going anywhere until Asuka is brought to the main roster and only then. Now I'm just waiting for this matchup to see what is going to go down at this Takeover.

WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament Finals

The show opens with a video package setting up our two finalists, featuring short promos from both women.  Renee Young is standing by with the trophy, welcoming us to the show and tossing to a recap of the red carpet from earlier tonight.  Shown at ringside now are Dana Warrior, Beth Phoenix, Alundra Blayze and, in a different section, Mauro Ranallo. Renee tosses to Jim Ross and Lita at the commentary booth, where they talk up how important the tournament is for women's wrestling.  Kairi Sane is shown walking backstage as Jim talks her up, and then, by contrast, we're shown Shayna Baszler walking backstage with Ronda Rousey and Jessamyn Duke. This sets up a video package for Baszler followed by more folks at ringside, this time Ata Johnson and Erica Wiebe in one group, and Candice LeRae, Mercedes Martinez, Toni Storm, and Piper Niven in another.  Entrances for the finals follow, and Lilian Garcia returns to do the ring announcing for them. Kairi Sane vs. Shayna B...

UnEventful Main Event

The Revival sat in on commentary, Matt and Jeff Hardy had the edge early as they took turns attacking Karl Anderson, The Club gained control by slowing the pace down and beating up on Jeff. Momentum continued to shift back and forth The Hardy Boyz emerged the victors' thanks to a Swanton bomb. Near the announce desk, The Revival and The Hardys brawled Anderson and Gallows leaped into the fray. The announcers tried to play up how much these teams can't stand each other, but WWE hasn't done a great job showing us that to this point Their issues don't feel especially personal. So, this brawl didn't have the emotional oomph it would have if it was set up better WWE appears to be headed toward a multiple-team Tag Team Championship bout. Cesaro and Sheamus don't really have any rivals at this point There isn't a singular story to dive into And so, a crowded stage is the only plausible direction for SummerSlam.             ...

SAni†Y Lays Out The Authors of Pain

Sanity's Nikki Cross kicked off this week's show, screaming as she is prone to do, before Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain joined her in the ring. The unstable faction called out NXT tag team champions The Authors of Pain.Akam and Rezar answered but were attacked from behind by the returning Eric Young, who zip-tied Rezar to the guardrail.Akam suffered a beatdown at the hands of the group while his tag team partner dragged part of the rail to the ring, only to beaten and pummeled by Young and the rest of Sanity. Sanity stood tall, sending a message loudly and clearly to the champions.   After weeks of video packages, The Street Profits debuted Wednesday night, taking on The Metro Brothers.Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford drew a nice pop for their first appearance.Dawkins and Ford demonstrated their athleticism early in the short squash. The latter overcame a bit of offense by Chris and CJ and made the hot tag to Dawkins. The newcomers scored the win moments later, kicking of...
